Book Review: Ruined by a Rake by Erin Knightly

I picked this up while it was free on Amazon and thought it was a fun fast novella.  Here are a few quick thoughts on Ruined by a Rake by Erin Knightly.

Ruined by a Rake: A Novella

A quick story of Eleanor and Nicolas who are step-cousins that have been sparring since the day they met.  Now all grown up they are back in the same house just as Eleanor’s uncle demands that she marries.

It’s a simple story, but has pretty great characters.  I loved Eleanor and Nicolas’ banter.  Plus the other characters supported the story well without getting too involved since it is a short story.

It was a sweet fast read.  I would certainly give any other novellas by Knightly a look in the future.  I give it four out of five stars.
