Book Review: The Atlantis Gene by A.G. Riddle

Finally! A book I borrowed through Amazon Prime that I really liked.  Here is my review of The Atlantis Gene by A.G. Riddle.

The Atlantis Gene: A Thriller (The Origin Mystery, Book 1) - A.G. Riddle

This is a pretty interesting thriller.  Once I picked it up I had a really hard time putting it down.  It’s based on a mystery that spans World War I to today as a group of scientists and soldiers try to figure out where humans came from.  I got really caught up in figuring out everyone’s motives and exactly what kind of discovery was made.

While I really liked seeing people at different times interacting with the discovery in Antarctica, when it all wrapped up together it got a bit complicated.  In the end I saw how it all fit together, but some of the revelations in the middle were just a bit too confusing.  I feel like this will look better in a future reread.

I was so sad when I realized that the sequel isn’t available yet.  I can’t wait to see what happens next.  I give it four out of five stars.
