Book Review: A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare

This was another series I picked up from a Bout of Books Twitter chat.  This is the first story in the Spindle Cove series.  This is my review of A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare.

A Night to Surrender - Tessa Dare

What I really like about Spindle Cove is the different kind of women.  In a historical romance setting you can easily imagine a group of women just not fitting the traditional mold of a proper lady.  A place of sisterhood and solidarity is really appealing.  We also get introduced to a number of other characters who I’m sure will show up in later stories.

The main romance between Susanna and Bram is a pretty good one.  The final conflict is not the greatest ending, but everything leading up to it is an enjoyable ride.  I’m certainly interested in going back and reading more about some of the other characters.  I give it three out of five stars.
